The "Smart POS by Postbank" service is a mobile application that turns a mobile phone into a POS terminal. The software allows for easy and convenient acceptance of payments with Mastercard and Visa cards, including digital cards, directly on a mobile smartphone, thus eliminating the need to purchase, install, and maintain additional POS devices. Smart POS offers a user-friendly interface and features that make digital payments accessible to everyone. To ensure a high level of security and speed, each transaction utilizes the technology used in EMV chip cards. This allows customers to manage their business easily, conveniently, and reliably anywhere and at any time.
The current campaign for "Smart POS by Postbank" is being implemented with the support of card organizations, thanks to the international experience of Mastercard, a leader in card payment technology solutions, and its support for digitization and competitiveness of small businesses in Bulgaria, which is part of the company's strategy to include 50 million small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide in the digital economy by 2025.
