The General Shareholder Meeting of Eurobank Bulgaria AD (Postbank) elected today Raika Ontsova as a new member of the Supervisory Board of the bank. Ms. Ontsova is an expert and professional in the field of banking and auditing of financial institutions with many years of experience. She started her career as an expert in the BNB in 1983, where she also served as Chief Auditor.
In her more than 37 years of experience Raika Ontsova has held leading positions in the management bodies of a number of commercial banks as well as Borika AD. Ontsova has an impressive experience in management consulting and assisting financial institutions in significant projects such as financial reporting, corporate valuation, internal audit, risk management and other strategic solutions. She has expertise to perform comprehensive assessments in accordance with the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) Regulation and has been the team leader involved in the assessment of several commercial banks in the country.
Raika Ontsova holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and her professional expertise is supported by numerous additional qualifications and trainings, including The Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor Credentialing Program (AM&AA Chicago, IL), the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor Credentialing Program (Association of M&A Advisors to Small and Mid-Sized Companies, Chicago, Illinois), AM&AA and Wake Forest University NC Charlotte Center, etc.
