Types of transfers 

The bank also offers standing payments as a service for its customers.

Postbank makes transfers in every type of currency to countries around the world through an extensive correspondent network of more than 200 foreign and Bulgarian banks and through the S.W.I.F.T. international financial payments system.

  • SWIFT transfers – international transfers to banks worldwide via correspondent banks.
  • SEPA transfers – euro transfers to countries within the SEPA area.
  • Instant payments (SCT Inst) – fast transfers completed within seconds.
  • TARGET – real-time euro transfers.
  • Standing payments – automatic recurring transfers based on parameters you set.

Fees and conditions for international transfers

DEBT
You cover all the fees for the transfer — both Postbank's and those of the intermediary banks. The beneficiary receives the full amount.

SHA / SHARE
The fees are shared between the sender and the beneficiary. You pay the fee to the bank, and the beneficiary covers the fees of the intermediary banks.​​​​​​​

CRED
All fees are for the beneficiary's account. They are deducted from the transfer amount.

*Important: for transfers in EUR/USD to countries within the European Economic Area, only the SHA option applies.

Declaration under Article 2(1) of BNB Ordinance No. 28 on the information and documents submitted to payment service providers
