Every month you will receive a statement (at the email address you provided or by mail, on paper) with a detailed description of the transactions made during the period, due interest, and fees. The date of issue of your monthly statement is indicated in the letter we send you along with your new credit card. The statement is also available in your Postbank online or mobile banking.
Within the payment period stated in your statement, you have the following options:
- To fully repay the used credit limit without owing interest for purchases made during the statement period. If you have a Mastercard Cash card, no interest will be charged for cash withdrawals either.
- Make a minimum payment of 3%, but not less than 8 euros. In this way, the card remains active, but interest is payable.
- To make a payment in an amount exceeding the minimum required.
The monthly payment of the utilized credit limit can be made in the following ways:
- Through Postbank Web. Registration for the Internet banking service is free and is done with a one-time visit to a branch of the Bank convenient for you. For your convenience, you can also register online.
- To pay your credit card obligation at a Postbank ATM with a deposit function, see all locations here.
- In cash at Postbank offices.
- By bank transfer to IBAN account BG 80 BPBI 9920 10 01010109, BIC code BPBIBGSF at Eurobank Bulgaria AD. The payment order must include the full name of the cardholder, and in the "Payment Reference" field, the credit card number and the cardholder's personal ID number must be indicated. We recommend making the transfer a few days before the payment due date.
- Automatically, through direct debit from an account at Eurobank Bulgaria. On the due date, the amount you have specified for payment will be automatically transferred. To request the use of the "Automatic Repayment" service via direct debit, it is necessary to complete a standard application form at Postbank offices.
- Through the ePay.bg system at the address: www.epay.bg,
- At an ATM through the B-Pay service - in the 'Other services' menu, after entering code 10001.
How can you use your Postbank credit card for all your daily expenses without owing interest?
Thanks to the grace period of up to 50 days for credit card purchases (up to 45 days for purchases and cash withdrawals with a Mastercard Cash card). The grace period means that the funds used for purchases with your credit card can be used without incurring interest within a period of up to 50 days (respectively up to 45 days for Mastercard Cash), depending on the date of the transaction made and the date of your monthly card statement. The bank does not charge interest on purchases made with the card if the full card balance for the current period is paid off within this period. For example, if your statement is issued on the 10th and the due date for monthly payment is, for instance, the 31st, any purchase made before this due date will have a grace period from the date it was made until the payment due date. If, for example, you purchase a product at a POS terminal on the first day, your grace period will be from the first day until the payment due date, that is, 31 days. The longest grace period occurs if you make a purchase immediately after the date your statement for the current period is issued, because this transaction will only appear in your next statement, and thus you will have up to 50 days until payment is due.
You also have the additional option of, with a single call to our Call Center, spreading any of your purchases or withdrawals over 3, 6, 9, or 12 equal monthly installments without interest, for a minimal fee. This allows you to plan your obligation over time and enjoy very favorable conditions for using an amount from your credit limit, as no interest will be charged on the purchase for the selected period.
