Petia Dimitrova wins Banker of the Year award for leadership skills and dynamic development

Postbank CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board Petia Dimitrova received at a formal ceremony the special Banker of the Year 2020 award as a recognition of her leadership skills and dynamic development. The accolade was handed by Economy Minister Lachezar Borissov. Ms. Dimitrova won the award for the fifth time after receiving it in 2012, 2015, 2017, as well as in 2019 when she was recognized for winning the confidence of the bank’s shareholders and proven team management skills.

"First of all, I thank my colleagues with whom, during this challenging year, we put a lot of effort to be part of the solutions and the result. In this unprecedented situation, I believe that this will continue in the future. Also, I would like to thank all our clients, shareholders and the management of Eurobank for staying with us and successfully going through the difficult months," Petia Dimitrova said in her address to the guests.

The Banker of the Year Awards, traditionally organized by Banker Weekly, are being held for the twenty-seventh time and award the most successful bank managers in the country, who have shown remarkable managerial skills throughout the year, and the institutions they manage report growing financial results on all five indicators.
