Postbank received two accolades at the Annual Bank Awards of Association Bank of the Year at a sleek ceremony late last night. The financial institution won in the Dynamics of Development category and the most desired and intense category – Bank of the Year.
Petia Dimitrova, CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board of Postbank, and the rest of the bank’s management team received the prestigious awards. “We are really happy we won the awards, which are a high assessment of our efforts during the past year. I would like first to thank my team, the shareholders and all employees of Postbank, without whom the awards would not be possible,” Mrs. Petia Dimitrova said at the award ceremony.
In her speech, she pointed out that Postbank is celebrating its 30th anniversary next year and is looking confidently to the future. “This recognition obliges us to continue growing so that we become bigger, more dynamic and more efficient in the products we offer to our clients,” Petia Dimitrova added and stressed that “the challenges we are going through during 2020 are motivating Postbank’s team even more in its strife for perfection”.
The Bank of the Year award and the Annual Bank Awards were launched in 1992. They have been an objective public evaluation of the Bulgarian banking system for 29 years and are determined only by the results of banks’ financial reports.Traditionally, the categories in which banks win awards include: Market Share, Efficiency, Development Dynamics, Foreign Bank Branch and the Grand Prize – Bank of the Year. The event is traditionally organized by the Bank of the Year Association and brings together the banking and financial elite of Bulgaria.
