The “Payment Protection Program for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Loans” for revolving loans granted for credit card transactions is insurance to secure a bank loan granted by Eurobank Bulgaria AD, which
provides the insured persons – sole traders, partners, shareholders or self-employed professionals – with protection for their life, physical integrity and ability to work.
The insurance premium is payable monthly.
The program is open to individuals aged between 18 and 65 who, in their capacity as:
Sole trader – a natural person who is a sole trader,
Self-employed persons,
A partner or shareholder (including a sole owner of the capital) in a commercial entity (EOOD, OOD, AD and EAD);have received funding from “Eurobank Bulgaria” AD under the “Loans for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” program for revolving loans granted for the purpose of carrying out credit card transactions.

If you have taken out insurance with ‘Cardif Bulgaria’ and an unexpected insured event occurs:
- Step 1: Contact the Cardiff Bulgaria contact centre on 02/4915 974 or visit the Cardiff Bulgaria office at 29A Hristo Belchev Street, Sofia, Entrance A, 1st floor, and report the incident, providing full and detailed information to the staff.
- Step 2: Complete the written ‘Notification of an Insured Event’ form and prepare all the documents requested by Cardiff Bulgaria’s staff. You can find information on this step on the Cardiff website България: http://www.bnpparibascardif.bg or via the contact numbers.
- Step 3: Send the documents to the address using whichever method is most convenient for you:
By courier;
Via ‘Bulgarian Post’ as a letter with a reply slip;
By taking them in person to the ‘Cardiff Bulgaria’ office.
- It will register an insurance claim and assess the information provided;
- We will contact you on the telephone number and/or at the address you have provided for feedback, should we require any additional documents or clarification;
- It will reach a decision on your case and will notify you in writing or by text message within 15 days of receiving the requested information.

The insurance cover under the ‘Card Protect Plus’ insurance policy for corporate debit cards is provided by ‘Cardif General Insurance, Bulgaria Branch’ KCHT, with EIK 175190059, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions. “Eurobank Bulgaria” AD acts as an insurance intermediary in its capacity as an insurance agent for “Cardif General Insurance, Bulgaria Branch” KCHT, pursuant to an agency agreement.
The ‘Card Protect Plus’ insurance product for corporate debit cards is available to cardholders of active corporate debit cards issued by the Bank, as well as to holders of payment accounts with the Bank for which access has been granted to carry out transactions using a corporate debit card; it is not offered separately. The terms and conditions of the debit card agreement are not linked to taking out this insurance. This is a marketing communication intended solely to present the insurance product and does not set out all the terms and conditions of the insurance product. To make an informed decision, you should carefully review all documents relating to the insurance before entering into a contract. The documents are available in hard copy at all Postbank branches. - As a result of ‘loss’ or its removal through ‘theft’, ‘burglary’ or ‘robbery’ committed up to 120 hours before the insured company debit card was blocked;
- Compensation of up to 2,000 EUR;
- As a result of ‘data theft’ involving the Insured’s corporate debit card or through ‘unauthorised access’ to the Insured’s digital payment instruments;
- Compensation of up to 2,000 EUR;
- Withdrawn using the ‘Insured Corporate Debit Card’ from an ‘ATM’ or at a ‘POS terminal’, carried out within 12 hours of the transaction;
- Compensation of up to 2,000 EUR;
- As a result of ‘Theft’, ‘Burglary’, ‘Robbery’ or ‘Loss’;
- Personal belongings (handbag, wallet, documents, keys, glasses, make-up, etc.) and portable electronic devices (laptop, tablet, mobile phone, e-reader, smartwatch, etc.);
- Compensation of up to 2,000 EUR, or up to 200 EUR for certain items;
- Relating to financial losses arising from ‘Failed delivery’, ‘Incorrect delivery’ or ‘Delivery of defective goods’;
- Compensation of up to 2,000 EUR, or up to 200 EUR for certain purchases;
- Including ‘Theft’, ‘Burglary’ or ‘Robbery’ of cash and/or vouchers, as certified by the competent authorities of the Ministry of the Interior;
- Compensation of up to 100 EUR;
As a result of ‘Theft’, ‘Burglary’, ‘Robbery’ or ‘Loss’ (even where there has been no fraud);
All fees, regardless of the type of reissue, including express reissues.
