Payment account for basic operations
The payment account for basic operations is opened solely in euro and can be used for operations only within the country. Each customer may hold only one such account.
From 1 September 2023, transactions initiated by the account holder are not subject to fees when they are made "against funds received from employment remuneration, pensions, benefits and allowances under social insurance and social assistance, or scholarships". Under these conditions, the account is maintained free of charge.
Withdrawals via ATMs and POS terminals of other banks, as well as other services, are subject to the corresponding fees from the bank's tariff.
The bank shall decide whether to open the account or refuse to do so within 10 days of receiving all required documents.
The account may not be used to service a consumer loan and/or mortgage loan, and no overdraft may be granted on it.
