What does an inactive (“frozen”) account mean, and how can it be reactivated?

This is an account that has been deactivated in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for Opening, Maintaining, and Closing Bank Accounts of Legal Entities at “Eurobank Bulgaria” AD:

“Checking and savings accounts on which no banking transactions other than automatic transactions have been performed for a continuous period of 12 months, as well as PSOOs on which no banking transactions other than automatic operations have been performed for a continuous period of 24 months from the date of the last banking transaction, shall be blocked for outgoing transactions initiated by the customer.”

In light of the above, we would like to clarify that an incoming transfer may be received into an inactive account. To ACTIVATE (“unfreeze”) the account and access the funds available in it, the account holder or a duly authorized person must visit a branch of the Bank.
