Postbank Web

This service is intended for all customers—individuals and businesses—who have an account (checking, savings, or deposit account) or another banking product (credit card or loan).

When you sign up for the service at a bank branch, you will receive an activation code and will need to follow these steps:

  1. Open Postbank Web and select the “Activate Access” link. On the next screen, select the “I have an activation code” button and enter the code provided to you in the “Activation Code” field.
  2. You will receive your username and password at the email address and mobile number you provided to the bank.
  3. Enter the username (via email) and password (via Viber/SMS) you received in the corresponding fields on the service’s login page.

If you are unable to successfully enter the required login information, you can request a password reset online. Open Postbank Web and select “Forgot Password.” Enter the following information: your username, email address, and phone number, as provided to the bank. If your information is entered correctly, you will receive a confirmation link via email. The system will then prompt you to change your password.

Customer information can be updated at one of the Bank’s financial centers. If you or an authorized representative are unable to visit a Bank financial center in person, please call 0700 18 555 or, if calling from abroad, (+359) 2 816 60 00 and select option 3 from the main menu. After your personal information has been fully verified, our colleagues at the Customer Service Center will assist you.

You must have a Qualified Electronic Signature, which you need to register in your Postbank Web account under the Security menu – Certificates submenu.

Once your electronic signature has been registered, you can select the Accounts menu, then the New Account submenu, and then the Open an Account section, and follow the steps described there.

To enhance security and in compliance with the revised Payment Services Directive (Regulation (EU) 2015/2366), we have introduced an additional authentication step when logging in to our online and mobile banking services.

Authentication will be performed by entering a one-time code that you will receive via Viber/SMS (or an automated call). This code will not be required for every login, but only for the first login and then periodically thereafter.

Registration is available at a bank branch or online.

Registering at a bank branch allows you to use the full functionality of the online banking service.

Online registration for the basic functionality of online banking is available to all individual customers of the bank who use at least one Post Bank product. Basic functionality provides access to all banking products, payment of utility bills and taxes, transfers between your own accounts, as well as payment of obligations related to your own loan products at the bank.

When using online banking, you can save more than 50% on the fees charged for making payments at a bank branch.

Transactions on the Postbank Web online banking platform can be confirmed using the Postbank m-Token software token or a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) + a one-time code received via Viber/SMS OTP.
