For the second year in a row, Postbank has launched its unique socially responsible initiative "Universe of Opportunities“ in support of social entrepreneurship. The financial institution has created a special innovative online platform on the occasion of its 30th anniversary to help implement attractive ideas and projects to the benefit of society. The pilot edition of the digital programme generated great interest, with over 230 applications submitted for the three key areas of education, digital innovation and environmental protection. The company once again focused on public needs by launching the large-scale "Universe of Opportunities“ programme for the second time to support the development of sustainable models and solutions for positive change in the environment in Bulgaria.
The innovative online platform can be found at www.PostbankUniverse.bg and will be open for applications of citizens and non-profit organizations until 15 June 2022. The process of applying for a grant in each of the three categories "Digital Innovation“, "Education“ and "Green Projects“ is carried out entirely online, and the total prize is BGN 30,000. Each project can receive BGN 10,000. Its authors must commit to its realization in six months as of the date of receiving the funding. Each participant has the right to submit an unlimited number of projects in the three categories, and the assistance provided by Postbank can be used to fully or partially finance the project.
The second stage of the initiative, which will take place between 16 June - 14 July 2022 inclusive, will again involve the unique vote of the public. Each user will have the opportunity to support a selected project by giving their vote to their favourite after signing up in the online platform. The finalists with the highest results from the public vote – 10 in each category, will be announced on 18 July 2022 at www.PostbankUniverse.bg and via the company's social channels. The three big winners in each of the categories – "Education“, "Digital Innovation“ and "Green Projects“ – will be announced in September 2022.
