Petia Dimitrova, CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board of Postbank was awarded the prestigious award „Banker of the Year“ 2022. The prize was given for high organic growth achieved by Postbank and was presented to the bank's CEO by the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria Iliana Yotova. The 29th „Banker of the Year“ awarding ceremony of Banker weekly took place in Sofia. The „Banker of the Year“ awards traditionally honor the managers of those financial institutions who have achieved the most outstanding success in the outgoing year.
„I am very proud of the award I received because the year was very successful. We recently celebrated our 30th anniversary, and almost twenty years of my professional career have passed in the bank. We will continue to grow even more. We will continue to work with the same enthusiasm and team spirit“, said Petia Dimitrova.
In her speech she gave special thanks to her colleagues from Postbank, to the strong banking group Eurobank, to the customers of the financial institution, to the business partners, whose support they have had throughout the years.
For her part, Vice President Iliana Yotova, who presented the award, pointed out in her speech that for all those years Petia Dimitrova has managed to obtain more than 100 international and national awards for the bank, which, in her words, "is a great testimonial for security, stability, development and success."
