The prize was awarded at the prestigious Bank of the Year 2014 contest

Postbank was awarded the Mystery Shopper prize in the Bank of the Year 2014 contest. The financial institution received the award for its achievements in customer care at a special ceremony that took place late last night at Sheraton Hotel Balkan. The prize was presented after a marketing research aimed at assessing the front offices’ performance quality of over 500 bank branches in Sofia and the country.

"This award means very much to me and my team. I often say that the banks have long ago stopped competing through pricing and products but strive for a better customer care and customer satisfaction. We, at Postbank, invest in a long-term improvement of expertise quality; we make it a point to change and develop, to offer much more to the clients who have trusted us and have chosen us to be their servicing bank. We were the first on the market to offer a new customer care model, innovative products and web-based services, to be a trendsetter, to comply with the choice of the individual clients and save their time," Petia Dimitrova, CEO and Chairperson of the Management Board of Postbank, said.

Traditionally, the event is organized by Association Bank of the Year, whose founders are proven professionals, financial experts and analysts. The Bank of the Year Awards evaluate and analyse the financial environment based on public information, announced by the Bulgarian National Bank, and award the banks' work.

The awards became one of the biggest events in recent years, and traditionally bring together the financial, political and business elite of Bulgaria. The prizes in the different categories are a symbol of success and an evidence for the stability of the banking institutions.
