Postbank becomes Employer of the Year

Postbank won the big prize Employer of the Year in the prestigious Employer Branding contest in Bulgaria, organized by b2b Media, for a second consecutive year. The prize was awarded for the financial institution's overall strategy to build an employer's brand with prospects to successfully attract, manage and retain talents. It includes various activities focused on the management, improvement of the working environment, opportunities for professional development and involving the employees in projects and campaigns in support of the society and the improvement of the state of the environment.

"We are happy that our persistent efforts to develop internal culture of trust, respect, creativity and innovative thinking in every activity in our employer branding programme were highly evaluated. To be awarded the biggest prize for a second consecutive year in the most contended category and amongst over 20 strong participants is a great honour, responsibility and recognition of the work of the entire team. The financial institution is continually developing the programme by including diverse and complementing activities targeting all employees in the organization. The office environment in Postbank has been designed in a way that unlocks the creativity and unorthodox thinking. The employees work in rooms with modern interior design, and separate creative areas and places for sport and recreation. Some of the many project that were implemented in the last year include the Ideyno competition, the internal initiative Green Heroes, the biggest charity team relay run Postbank Business Run, the participation in the UN Global Compact Network Bulgaria's Proud of My Parents' Work initiative, and the partnership with SoftUni. It is aimed at helping the career development of the future digital experts who want to develop in Bulgaria, while the institution's employees will be able to upgrade their skills in one of the most modern universities.

The b2b Media's awards evaluate and distinguish the companies for their excellent performance in building and establishing the image and popularity of the employment brand, they promote the innovations in the talent management and the new successful strategies in the field of human resources. This year, the jury had the difficult job to evaluate almost 100 nominations of nearly twice as many participants than in last year's edition, including companies in the financial, telecommunications and IT sectors, and the sectors of fast moving consumer goods and consulting services.
